I wear shooting glasses. Got em at wally world. They don't have foam and allow air to get in and keep from fogging. My only suggestion is don't get the yellow lenses. Clear is the best for night time and rain. In my opinion at least.

My first full-day of riding in the rain was 5 out of 8 hours in a downpour....

My standard goggles that I love did fog up, so I just might grab a pair of clear shooting glasses & toss them my bag kit for next time (which we all know is gonna happen eventually).

Sadly, I barely noticed the fogging problem because I was so pissed at the utter failure my brand new (as in, bought just an hour before it started raining) HD-brand suit was.

It was the grey jacket with the black horizontal band on it and Bar&Shield on back. I know a few people have that suit & love it...and it's rated on the sales tag as "waterproof up to moderate and even heavy rain."

I encountered moderate rain....was fully zipped & velcro'd up before it started.
And was completely soaked top to bottom within 5 minutes.
Needless to say, I took it back to HD and got a refund...and they agreed that there's no reason I should have been so wet so fast no matter what other than a defective suit.

Problem is, if 1 was bad, a bunch of the same batch probably are, so now I'm hesitant to buy another of the same style.
But I also wonder.....are all the suits made at the same place from the same waterproof material? I'm even hesitant to buy a different style at the moment.

This is code speak for "water resistant", which a far cry from actually being water proof. My water resistant textile jacket will bead water, but only if I am sitting still and it has a chance to roll off quickly. If I am riding... it does not bead up or roll off at all. If it rains for more than a few minutes, my jacket is soaking wet and is starting to seep into the my other layers. I could spray some silicone on it, which works a little better, but it just delays the inevitable.

There is no substitute for actual water proof rain gear.

That's just it...this suit is supposedly true and proper waterproof.
And I know about 5 people with the exact same suit and they swear by it.
*shrug*
Guess I just had bad luck.

I have never had a pair of waterproof rain pants that DIDN'T leak through the crotch at some point. Even ones I have seem-sealed myself.

Regular sunglasses or glasses work better than anything. They dont fog up because air can get between the lens and your eyes.

I carry a sissy bar bag that carries my rain suit, gloves, over shoes, and some other stuff.

Anti-fog I use Cat Crap, from REI Co-Op. For goggles and glasses.

The wife uses a fog city shield liner for her FF.

All work flawlessly

full face is the way to go. glasses/googles/etc seem to fog up. Got caught in a down pour last night but had a full windshield. Long as im going over 50 mph, the only thing that gets wet are my ankles. just go to make sure the doors on your lowers are closed.
