You can get the both the FullSac conversion and a set of Wild Pig slip ons for $320 shipped. The pigs are factory seconds but you will have a hard time seeing the defects.
What exactly does Fullsac do??? I thought most (80%) of the exhaust came out the right side.
So how is it done - there is like a "Y" exhaust pipe coming off the rear cylinder - so do you block off the exhaust going to the right side from the rear cylinder so it all goes left???
Fullsac, and other "true dual" products, replace the stock "Y" pipe. (That is the pipe that runs from the rear cylinder into the left and right exhausts.) The replacement pipe mounts to the rear cylinder and only goes to the left side exhaust. As part of the kit, a new straight pipe is fitted on the right side from the head pipe to the right exhaust. The end result is that each cylinder is now feeding to its own exhaust. Hence the "true dual" reference.
Here is a picture of the kit, with the pipe that it replaces (the obvious blued one)
