I just bought a 2008 SE Road King and want to put a batwing fairing on it. Been looking at all the brands out there and this one ( RECKLESS not restless )has an excellent price but I don't want to put something cheap look either. It cost $900 OTD with 6X9 marine speakers and the sony with the ipod tray built in. Has any of you bought one and how does it look on and how's the sound. I would appreciate any input you guy may have.

My buddy has one with the setup you listed. he absolutley loves it. he evenmounted the power wire into the acc switch so the power can be cut when removed. he told me the people were very friendly and helpful, and more than willing to stand behind their product. The paint match his 07 perfectly. you wont be sorry.
Reckless is what I have on mine and I really like mine. It is very well built and easy to install and remove. I have friends who have other after market fairings and some of them are trying to sell theirs to buy a Reckless. They are much tougher than HD OEM fairings too.
Don't rule out a Woody's. Glenn does very nice work, and he's reasonably priced too. I paid $665 delivered. His service is phenominal also; he installed a 12 volt plug in a no additional cost.

Plus one on woodys. I have on and it comes on off just as easy as the windshield did. I will post someics later since I have it apart right now. I would at least talk to Glen before you purchase as there are a lot of handling issues to consider with regards to how it mounts.

I have the four Polk Audio speakers and they sound great. Much louder and crisper than anything HD offers.
Reckless is an awesome fairing and I have experienced zero handling issues. The fairing comes standard with your choice of stereo and speakers and a 12volt accessory outlet, 2 windshields of your choice and chrome accent strip over the windshield plus all mounting hardware. It mounts to your windshield mounts.

Is yours set up to install a radio? Or did you get the fairing thats just for wind protection?
On my buddies Road King, one of the nicest I have ever seen.
Not painted to match yet but fits real well, paid about $800 complete at Daytona Bike Week, shipped to the door.
Bought one this spring for my 03 Road King Classic.... Very well built and I think the pics will show how cool it looks........ Stereo was put in locally....
