Greetings all. I have an '07 Road King with about 25K miles on it. I noticed that my hydrolic lifters were making quite a chatter when first starting up. After several miles they quit down.

After changing the oil at about 5K (Amsoil), the lifter noise quited right down. No more chatter at start-up. How can new oil effect the lifters in this way?
