I have 17500 miles on my 2010 Limited. I am **** about tracking my mileage. Since new I have had 123 fill-ups. I average 40.3mpg. I have only done a Stage 1 w/cat left intact. My riding generally is 50/50 highway/city. Mostly, I commute 50 miles one-way to and from work. My riding style is probably considered mild. Only on some rare occasions do I ride it like I stole it. The best was 53.2mpg and the worst was 32.58mpg. But, I more normally see 39.5 to 40.5. Headwinds, I would say, are cause for my more lower readings.

Dude!!!!!!!!OCD only begins to describe that fuel mileage thing you got going on...123 fill ups?...32.58mpg?. You know Im just having a laugh, right?
Very rare I get 35 but mostly 40 + and I ride it like dragster at take off always keep it at 75+MPH 0n the hwys. With some mods mpg improves as also performance improves for some reason.
notta except tweaking the big can SE slip-ons n cat removal.
Add an air cleaner and the SEPST with prefered map to your slip-ons. Added 5 mpg to my otherwise stock UC. Went from 34.x to 39.x in everyday riding and 45+ on a Sunday drive in the country. And got plenty of useable torque to go with it.
40 + seems to be the norm. But it wasn't always so for mine. Started off around 35 at new. Now that I am past 8k I have seen 43.6 one time. I hit the trip meter at every fill up and leave it open. Seems like its easier to plan fuel stops that way. Dont really trust the fuel gauge anyway.
Box stock I got 41 mpg on the two tanks. Did the stage 1 with PC V and it dropped to 36 mpg, but I was riding a lot harder, redline and hard accel runs. I just changed to a Power Vision and the bike runs better than ever milage up to 39 mpg, but I know Im still riding it hard trying to get it to pop etc so i can tweek the MAP if needed. I bet that the next few tanks will break 40 mpg.
Also i noticed Dyno Jet has "Fuel Ecomomy" MAPS on their site for the Power Vision as well as "Performance" MAPS. Also Fuel Moto can tweek it too get the best of both. In fact Jamie sent me a new MAP today to try.
LOSE SOME WEIGHT! Baggers are heavy because all the extra stuff on them. So any weight reduction Mods will help with fuel economy! Oh and self weight reduction will help too!
Zakk there is some validity to your weight reduction advice. Taking off from a start and when accelerating is where the weight reduction will help. The biggest killer is wind drag though, I did some digging around and found out that a sportbike has roughly the same drag co-effiecient as a Hummer, that really surprised me.
