Default Mustang Lowdown Problems

Installed the lowdown thursday and went out for a 200+ mile ride today and i cant straighten up due to my back. Has anyone else had this problem with the lowdown? At this point i am ready to send it back and find something else. My next question is will a seat from a 2000 electra glide fit my 05 road king classic? My brother in law has one i would like to try. thanks for the help.

To add more to the above I rode close to the same amount of miles on the stock seat with less stops and did not have near the problem I am having today.

Has no one ever tried a electra glide seat on a road king?

Road king and ElectraGlide seats of that generation technically will fit, but the noses of the two styles are different. The two bikes have different consoles so you'll have a gap at the front of the seat.

Yeah i bought the lowdown with the rest and kept adjusting to help the back problem with no luck. If the seat is comfortable I can figure out something to fill the gap. I just have to find a seat that is comfortable for me and my wife. Otherwise one of us is going to have to suffer and we know who that will be.

After calling Mustang and finding out there is only a little over an inch of foam in the drivers seat it is on its way back. I like Mustang seats but after $700 for the seat and the $45 to ship it back I think my buying seats from the net is over. I stopped by Smoky Mountain Harley in Pigeon Forge and checked out the Sundowner. Tony in parts told me he would order the seat i could bring the RKC by they will install it and we can try it out before we buy. It is a expensive lesson learned due to the restocking fee I am sure they are going to charge me. Should have stopped by there first.
