Actually FuelMoto doesn't change the plug. The plugs are the same for the 08 and 09s but FuelMoto did create maps to support the 08s whereas DJ did not. I had the PCV on my 2008 and it worked great. Since then I have gone with the Power Vision which is also a great tuner. The PV gives you more control over the settings in the entire map. Definitely go with the PCV over the PCIII and if you want even more flexibility, I recommend the Power Vision. Both the PCV and the PV have the ability to use DynoJet's autotune modules.
Thanks for the correction on the plug deal. If you aren't going to play with the maps I would recommend the PCV. If you want to make changes to the tune and settings such as speed, then by all means the PV.
Power Commander V is a good bet...But let's cut the fuel moto plugs...any good place will do it right. So skip the fuel moto doing it, let someone else do it...save some money...

It may sound like many have "drank the koolaid' but the truth is Fuel Moto has some of and often the best price on Dyno Jet products, they double the warranty of the unit and offer lifetime MAP and Tech Support. There isnt any one else out there that does that. and Ive never heard from anyone that called and talked to Jamie or Keith that did not have a good experience with them, they have spent a lot of time on the phone with many forum members explaining the tech side of tuners and tweeking MAPS to help get it right.
Sure If your planning on getting it dynoed along with the tuner you can buy it anywhere if you find a good price, but you probably wont find that price any better than FM and you wont get the warranty doubled or access to thier MAP Library that is many times larger than Dyno jet.

I must respectfully disagree with you on this. The reason many of us recommend Fuel Moto is that they are a top-tier tuning establishment and perform dyno tunes on dozens of bikes every month from Harleys to racing rigs. Each tune yields a map or tune file which can be used on another like-equipped bike. Will bikes vary from one to the other--yes, in minor ways, but the tune or map will be very close when tuned on an '07 RK in WI and run on an '07 SG in LA. I know of no other outfit that can provide anywhere near the quality or selection of tunes for so many configurations that Fuel Moto can.
If that isn't enough, their prices are competitive and near the best you can find anywhere. More? They provide a double warranty (two years) on all DynoJet products.
