great plan -- i would go with this or the 113 -- if you go with the SE 120 paln 0n getting $1500 - 2k for the stock motor
Agree, either plan would result in a good runner but I really like the 120R option. Consider the money spent to case bore for the 113 and installation of the Lefty bearing and a set of 120 cases is within reach. The 120 cases already have the Lefty bearing and the 4.625 is a stronger crank. If he keeps the 4.375 crank, he is looking at more $$ to weld it; no welding required for the 120 crank. The upside potential for future upgrades with the 120R is huge but once the 113 is done; the OP is pretty much stuck with it.
You might be right about the $1500-$2000 for a stock motor; seems to be a few on the market that have been pulled to install the 120R.
