I have a 2010 street glide and I turned off the radio during a ride and turned it on maybe 15 min later and nothing but static does anybody have any ideas on a fix. Trying to avoid the dealer and the expense.

 

have you checked to see if the antenna wire vibrated loose ?

 

Also, another thing to check, did you accidentally hit the selector switch & now it's on "AM" or "Weather" mode, or changed channel...

Sometimes it's pretty easy to hit one of the wrong handlebar controls while riding...if not, time for dealer/warranty check.
