I really want a set of Bad Bagger Hellrazor bars but just don't know if i can justify dropping that kind of cash on them. Does anyone know of any similar bars with internal wiring for less or I guess you could give me a nudge and i will be eating ramen noodles for a couple of months.....ramen noodles aren't that bad
ok...so i consider myself a numbers man..... so how to "justify" the Hellrazors @ roughly $2200 (for a late model FL with dual disks and standard clutch) all chrome finish.
lets run down a comparrison
Yaffe Monkey bars $400
HD Chrome Controlls $550
Grips $100
Cables $100 ?
Labor $680 ($85/ hour HD rate x ballpark 8 hours labor ..... probably low)
--------------
total $1830
sure the Hellrozors aren't gonna install themselves and if you did your own install, pulling wires, etc...you could save a bunch...
but if you're looking to change everything ..bars, grips, controlls... its not THAT crazy..
if you're just looking to do bars...sure $2000 + is over budget
and the biggest factor... i bet you won't see another guy with your set up..and there will be an air of jealousy surrounding you everywhere you go
