Well Guys, the yellow does not look as good in person,I bought the Big Blue Pearl since Blue is my favorite color, but I saw the Red yesteday on a RGU and I am having a bit of Red Remorse. Here is mine.
Hated the chrome yellow online and with the painted piece at the dealer UNTIL I saw it in person. Absolutely breathtaking color. It's bright but deep and rich, easily my favorite 2012 color. (FWIW, I have a 2011 Sedona Orange Street Glide that I love).
For all you that have seen the latest 2012 RG custom, what colour looks the best - vivid black, denim black, chrome yellow or big blue pearl ?
Have not seen any in my part of the woods so would like to get some input. I know colour is a very personal thing but opinions would be good. Is the bike too big for the yellow as that looks really good on the HD site.
Thanks in advance.
Yellow looks great on the bike, as does the blue
Black??? geez that is so common......almost boring (no offence to the millions who like it)
Chrome Yellow is the best color. Of course I am a bit biased because it sure looks good sitting in my garage. Contrary to a previous post, I think it looks better in person. And it sure does stick out in the crowd. I had absolutely ZERO problems finding my bike at Sturgis this year. How many guys with Vivid Black RKs and SGs can say that?
Vivid Black is not the fastest color if it takes you an hour to find it in the crowd.
Big Blue Pearl !. Saw it at a HD dealer in Ohio last week. One word...Bee-You-Tee-Full !.
I agree that big blue is amazing. A black bike is to much work. however that blue will be hard to keep clean also. I vote for the Red RG Ultra. I like red bikes.
I have seen the big blue pearl and vivid black. Both are very nice but my last 2 Harleys have been blue so I went with vivid black and love it thus far. Bryan
