Glad to hear she is doing good. Sounds like a tough lady. I know it is tough feeling like you are the one responsible for her condition, been there done that. Hang in there and hope both of you enjoying riding again.
one thing I've learned.....when my wife is "recovering" (couple of surgeries), she is WAY EASIER than I am to nurse back to health. I agree with the comments that you have a great wife. Do what you can to get her feeling better....try and ANTICIPATE what she may need.....she'll appreciate it...........thoughts and prayers headed your way....
I'm so sorry to hear that. My girlfriend just started riding several weeks ago and I've been a nervous wreck ever since! I hope she heals fast and is better than new!
My biggest fear is my wife getting hurt while riding on the bike with me. I can only imagine how you feel right now. My prayers for her speedy recovery and your mental recovery are on the way.
Good she is doing well. Sorry to hear of the accident. As you stated, ABS brakes are such a life saver. Don't understand why anyone who had a choice would not have ABS brakes...they should be mandatory on ALL bikes. Continued success with wife's recovery.
I can totally understand what you are going through. Three weeks ago, my wife was leading on her Deluxe and I was on her wing on my Limited. A mother deer and fawn ran out. She swerved the mother, but struck the fawn. I engaged the ABS and watched my wife screech, slam, roll and slide down the road. I still have issue riding at night. THe only way I can deal with this is knowing she is still with me. Rest will heal. Keep your head up.
