I am looking for something to go between the seat and the backrest on the tour pack of my ultra classic,,,my wife needs some lumbar support,,any ideas????
My wife needed the same thing so we got creative, she took a small fleece blanket rolled it up and wrapped it with velcro, then took a piece of velcro with the stickum on the back and stuck it to the tourpak under the flap adjusted it to fit where she wanted and it has been there for 2 years. Works perfect and if needed she has a binkee
Santajim beat me to it , but I'd go through your bath and beach towel collection and find different length towels to roll up for different diameters.
Try each size and get her critique on each for comfort.
When you find the right setup , you could sew up a naugahyde sleeve and mount it under the backrest more permanently and waterproof like.
I was lucky as my wife likes it enough (stock) to fall asleep on the bike constantly , makes me nervous , but she's comfy.

You know those foam NOODLES people use in a pool? Cut one of those to width and place it behind the back pad. Too thick? Slice it in half width wise.
Some pipe insulation does the same thing and comes in differant diameters.
Theres really not much of a pad there,at least for support.
I was thinking of placing some kind of inflatable pillow or something inside.
Maybe some memory foam.
I'm suprised MOCO does not sell something.
How about the bladder from a blood pressure cuff inserted into the current back pad with the hose hanging out from a bottom corner. Pump it up, remove the pump and ride on....
