Sorry for the smart azz remark & thanks for your service, it just seemed like low miles for a 3 year old bike. Can you see if you can get it registered where you lived before since you're in the service?

Ill trade you. Mine has 95,539 on it. A low odometer would make mine easer to sell!

I would check further to see if you need the 7500 miles. I know if you live in Ca. and buy an out of state vehicle it is necessary. Possibly living outside Ca. at the time of purchase changes things?

Being in the military, do you have to go with Ca plates. I know when I was in the Army back in the 1980's there were a lot of states that had non resident plates for the military at a very good price no matter what you drove.

Being assigned to another area and buying a bike is one of the exceptions to the DMV rule in CA. you must have something else going on.

Sounds like you are in the miltarty. You have an AUTOMATIC excemption from registering you vehicles in California if you are active duty miltary. If this is the case, keep it registered in you home state for about $50 instead of the $300+ for CA.

Can't help you with the wife, see picture, mine rides with me. ..

PS 12 months since bought 15K miles, ride year round herein So. CA.

Just use a relatives address from the state your from. When you do register it in California there are forms for out of state active duty. It's way cheaper. Used to be $25 but I know it has gone up.

leave it registered in your original state until the miles catches up.

Thanks for your service. Don't you have a friend or family that lives where you can register it? use their address until you have the miles
