Default 2005 RG thunk or clunk feeling

So I just picked up a 2005 RG from my local dealer....I did get the extended wrnty with the bike...however, before i take it in, im wondering if anyone here experienced this....When driving along a regular road that is a little undulated or rougher there is a clunk or thunk feeling coming from what seems like the bottom of the bike under the seat area.....I would almost describe it as a motor mount or trans mount feeling a pretty harsh metal to metal feeling, although i dont feel anything on take of or stops. just while cruising on regular roads, not felt when cruising smooth highways at 65-70 mph unless going over a rough patch ....cant hear much, but with the harley eng running how would you...anyway. if anyone has any idea of this , or experienced this. any info would be great...

Check to see if the jiffy stand has a rubber bumper on it.

My '06 was doing the samething.I could feel the samething going over minor bumps and was riding two up at the time.
I could not find anything and also a dealer.Ended up trading it in.

I thought about the stand...it does have a bumper stop on it, but it does not look original, as it binds when putting down and the top of the stand where it mounts to the bike it chewed up...but it seems to work normal, although i could try to hold it away from the bike with my foot while its happening,,,

The feeling is not coming from the jiffy stand... It doesn't feel like it's the shocks. But it does pretty harsh similar to bottoming out, but not quite the same....if anyone else has any insight that would be awesome.
