Default 2005 road glide more power

I just picked up a 2005 RG from Wolverine HD 74 k miles on it. I know this is pure opinion based....however I'm looking for you honest opinion on what bolt on parts gave you the most seat of the pants power boost....I know certain parts together do a lot of different numbers. I'm not concerned about dyno numbers..I'm very interested in what you did that made the biggest and most noticeable FEELING you got after you installed it...brands and parts if you have them.....thanks in advance...
Stu

Put a 110" motor in it.

Not enough info. Is the bike dead stock, is it FI or carbed, what kind of exhaust, has it had cam tensioners replaced, etc?

95" kit with Andrews 26 cams. Leave the heads stock for torque.

And you won't break the bank

Sorry...it appears to be pretty stock....EFI.. Sounds very stock...
Make no bones about it...if I could afford a 110... Or even a 103 motor it would be done as quickly as I could get it done...but unfortunately not the case...

S&S 510 cams, Torrington bearings (might as well replace now), Rinehart True Duals, Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and a good tune/tuner.

All that can be done for about $2400. Will make a world of difference. You will feel it for sure in "the seat of your pants". But the dyno and/or a proven fuel map is where you will set your torque curve, etc. for your style of riding.

Also, anything similar to the parts mentioned above will do the same thing. These are just my perfs. I would stay away from HD aftermarket parts. I believe they are all now made in China, Taiwan, etc.

Get the history on what if anything has been done to the motor to date from the seller. Otherwise enjoy a sweet ride!!!

First thing you need to do is find out if anything has been done with the cam tensioners, I'd say ride till winter but if there hasn't been anything done to the tensioners they can go out & tear up the engine, then you're looking at $3-5k to put it back together.

With 74000 miles,is it worth it to do top end work and nothing to the bottom?
