On the limited, and no I have the ohlin 6s in a box in the garage, waiting to be shipped back to Howard for inspection. I've been lazy he has been great.
No I left the Limited stock height. I'm debating on getting another set from Howard. When I sold the CVO I left them on. Expensive mistake.
[quote=traveler;12139053]I got the rear on, and got some better pics:
17 X 6.25 with a 200/55ZR17 Metzler ME880
I just got my set of Ness G3's, 21" front installed with no problem but 17" rear with 200 Michelin Commander II does not clear belt and looks like it will hit the left rear fender/bag brace. I haven't torqued the wheel up or tightened the belt given it's against the tire. I've seen plenty of 200's and a couple G3's on this forum (traveler, you're one of them).... any ideas on what I need to do?
The Michelin 200/55/17 was problematic for us and after two customers had the same issue I stopped mounting it on 17" wheels for baggers. There seems to be no consistency to the exact widths with the Michelin 200/55/17. I have also had several customs whom were able to make it work although it was close to the belt.
The funny thing is I use a Metzeler 200/55/17 has never had an issue and that is what I use for this specific reason.
The Phantom Cut Cabo looks great on that bike. What color is your bike?
Thanks Hogpro.
I call it olive drab, like the fatigues I wore years ago It was a 2007-2008 HD color (they call it Olive Pearl #98609) but only used on factory bikes as a accent color in a certain two tone scheme.
