Default Baffles or not?

Ok I am not saying I am going to but I am thinking about pulling the baffles on my 11 Ultra. I have the stock headers and a stage 1 with Rush Big Louies. If I was to do this do I have to retune/download? Is running without the baffles going to cause any problems aside from potential loss of hearing and pissing off the neighbors?

Along these lines... I know nothing about exhaust systems. How can I tell if I have baffles in my exhaust? What do they look like? I wonder if the previous owner of my new bike put them in or took them out.

You're gonna loose a lot of low end torque due to no back pressure. A buddy of mine has a street glide that he put V&H true duals on, then yanked the baffles. It's loud, but in my opinion, doesn't sound that good. He won't even try to keep up with my RK.

Not really but maybe a bit blunt. Just agreeing with FP since he ask. Would not say that to someone who did not ask for an opinion.

I'm running stock header, stage 1 airfilter and download. For mufflers I'm running Bassani slip ons. I pulled the baffles, removed the packing material, then reinstalled the baffle. Bike runs great and the Bassani mufflers have a great low tone. With the baffles installed I'm still getting good back pressure, no flat spots or loss of top end. Added plus is the volume is not abusive. This is the second Harley I've run this set up on and I love it.
