Default 2up heavy weights

Looking for any advice people with experience could give me.
I have been riding 20+ years and the wife has been on bikes just as long. My question is she wants to ride with me on my Electra Glide and leave her softail home. We are not a small couple together we tip the 600lb range. Is it going to hurt my bike? Please no smart a## comments.

I know the feeling. My g/f isn't that big, but I'm 6'5" and 300# by myself. I think you'll be fine, just make sure to air up the shocks and tires to the "loaded" PSI specified in your manual.

Not going to hurt your bike, just do the normal, check your tire pressure, and air in the shocks, also allow for the change in braking and acceleration.

You will have no problem,a guy I ride with named "Tiny" is about 6ft 8" 400 lbs. He rides 2 up all the time, just put the max pressure in you shocks.

Wife and I aren't small people, I'm 6'3 315, she is half my size. Air up the suspension to 50psi and tires to loaded weight and ride!

The wife and I are about 550 combined and with luggage I'm sure that we have about 600 - 625 on the bike with no problem. Just make sure that you keep the air in the shocks and the tires on the high side. Load her up and have fun.

Just give yourelf extra time and distance. All that weight will increase stopping distances. Same with passing at freeway speeds or passing in the hills and mountains.
