Looking for any advice people with experience could give me. I have been riding 20+ years and the wife has been on bikes just as long. My question is she wants to ride with me on my Electra Glide and leave her softail home. We are not a small couple together we tip the 600lb range. Is it going to hurt my bike? Please no smart a## comments.
My wife & I are not small by any measure & we have ridden on my 07 FLH on many a day. Outside of bottoming out on one bridge, the FLH has handeled our weight without harm. Altho our new favorite ride is the 2010 Tri Glide. ( But that's another subject...)
Thanks for all the info. Hit the road and clocked just under 800 miles. Had a fun trip and even pulled the tent trailer. Ran into a great group of people from Canada and had a blast
