Thanks for your suggestions so far. Has anyone tried/used the Sena SMH10D-01B ?
Yes. That is the standard helmet mount. I use that mount that I use one of my 1/2 helmets. Boom mic, with wired speakers. On my carbon fiber helmet I use mount SMH-A0303 boom mic with ear buds. On my flip-up FF helmet I use mount SMH-A0302. Wired mic into the chin guard, with speakers.
I've listened to the audio output on the Scala units, and they don't compare with the Senas.
After researching on my own and getting some PMs from other Forum members, I decided to go with the Sena SMH10D-01B and a Sena SMH10D-01B for my better halfs full face helmet.
Side note: After sending a contact request to CycleBot and never hearing anything back from them, I purchased these from JC Motorcycle accessories. The price was right and the feedback and return policies were better than the others I read about.
