Yup, at low speeds you want to slip the clutch and use the throttle. Remember, there are very few things that come up on the bike where the correct answer isn't "more throttle".

Oh that feeling of "I know I am going over but cannot stop it" really sucks, especially in slow motion. Glad there was no damage.

Ouch! Glad you are ok. I hope the family of 5 on the lil scooter didn't laugh too loud as they rode by.

I was riding very familiar roads today and the city workers had a boatload of stone on it. Huge pucker factor. Glad you are okay. Sure is nice when you are able to keep the shiny side up and the rubber down... Don't let it get you down and watch out for the unexpected!!!!

Well... you're probably right... but "running wide on a curve" is one of them.

If you right foot brake to hold the bike only, it makes a huge difference vs. using the front brake.

Once on the Deuce riding 2-up we started to tip over and I saved it, we were stopped and I had to lift it by the bars.... Had a funny soreness in the wrist later riding home. Woke up at 3am with the pain of a serious sprain. That took a while to recover from.

Had the wheel turned while backing up and didn't compensate enough when stopping on a sloped driveway. Had to set it down but the proper techinique brings it right back up.

There was a car that I had to avoid, plus I really couldn't NOT stop as I wasn't sure where I was going or needed to go. Still learning the signs and there are a lot of one way streets here. And NO.... the family of 5 on the Vespa didn't see me. I had seen them going the opposite way just a few minutes prior. LOL

Have to stop on a steep hill, on a road that has a pretty good crown on it, and take a right every day (no choice - stop sign at a busy T). I dropped the Suzi there twice, once because it stalled as I was picking my feet up. Knock on wood, I haven't dropped the SG there.
