If you have a carquest auto parts store nearby, they can scan your paint and give you the exact match. Then you don't have to buy it from Harley. I did this when I painted my inner fairing and new fender, saved a lot of $$$.
got same one on my 2011 rkc. bike is black so its a perfect match. b4 i bought i contacted memphis shades and no one could tell me if it would mount using stock hardware. i think it can because my stock windshield fits with the memphis mounts which are just slightly different bushings. i like the fact i can alternate quickly between fairing, windshield and nothing.it gives the bike different looks. im working on trying to find a way to mount a radio and speakers preferably to the fairing that doesn't look crappy.
I had one on my VTX. I added a Shark Ipod amp and speakers. I attached the speaker to the shield(top set) and the mounting bracket (bottom set), and mounted the amp behind a side cover, or you could store the amp in a windshield bag.

Stopped in at a bike shop about an hour from my place (Brantford Ont). Guy imports alot of bikes from the US, not where I bought mine but anyways whenI walked in I noticed this Memphis Shades batwing on the shelf. Asked kindly if the fella wouldnt mind carrying it out and test fitting it on my R/K ( worried about tach clearance ) Thing fits perfect, installed it in the parking lot and rode home with it on.
I think its looks pretty sweet, guy charged 450 for it, which isnt bad considering its 442 from Memphis Shades ( dont think he made much off of me ) Anyways here she is.
Looks great! nice photo comparison with the bike behind yours - I'm assuming that was a factory fairing on that bike
I can make you a pretty cool flip up windshield for that when your ready. I liked the Memphis fairing but ended up going on to buy a dragon fly for the road king. I felt that the Memphis was a little shaky. I'm glad you like it.
Ha have been thinking about making some accessories for the inside of the memphis fairing but havent identified any good ones yet. I.E. Glove box
