As you know legroom and arm reach can be "corrected" to your needs with seats and handlebars. Basically, same frame, same setup other than the fairing, seat and handlebars that comes with each model.
What you will see is the RG has more distance between you and the gauges. I'm sure you have also read about the differences in handling in windy conditions. The batwing tends to get moved around a bit more than the sharknose because it's attached to the handlebars instead of the frame.
I've had both and prefer the Road Glide although I wouldn't turn down a free Ultra.
