Are the RJS shields actually leather or a good imitation or some cheap a$$ vinyl???

Is the overall quality as good as a Mustang seat???

$140 seems like allot - but if the QUALITY is there it would be worth it. "ON THE FENCE" on this one. THANKS!!!

I have the RJS shields, and think they work great. A little pricy, however they work

I installed the Kuryakyn shields this past spring and personally I think they were worth the investment. I live in central Fl, I installed them mostly for stop and go traffic in the summer but found they help while moving down the rode as well. If installed properly I don't see how they would ever melt unless there were custom pipe installed that came too close to the shields. All I can attest to is how they have worked for me.

I have the RJS "No More Fried Thighs." They work very well and look like an extension of the seat. They are metal, covered with a black plastic or vinyl substance.

I have had them on my UC for a year now. They do help a little and they do not get in the way at all. They are expensive but worth it. But, if you really want to get rid of the hot crotch.....go to two into one pipes. It is that pipe crossing over to the left side under your crotch that causes all the heat. plus you will be happy with the power also.

Funny - I am actually going from stock into duals via the Fullsac conversion kit.

Are true duals less heat than 2 into 1???

thx

Work fine and actually look good. Fit depends on your exhaust. Dont work with some custom exhausts!!

I have the Fullsac conversion on mine. I noticed right away that it was cooler on my legs.
