If you sold it for 10K you would almost be giving it away. I would think any where between 12 and 15 would not be bad. Winter is right around the corner in your neck of the woods... Good luck.

Find someone who reads this forum and knows about heat issues, limp mode, uneven tire wear, oil leaks, noisy engine, unexplained tranny noise, paint pealing, chrome pealing, etc etc that little 88 with hardly no miles will bring a premium! Unless they are concerned with keeping up with the joneses. There is a lot of that goin on here. If the truth was known there are a lot of guys on here that would love to have their 88-95ci bikes back! We'll never know the truth!

This summer I got rid of my '07 Fatboy to get an '05 Ultra.
I specifically shopped for an '06 or under because of the heat, tranny noise and limp mode.
Since then I have had two buds also purchase and '06 and an '02 and before anyone assumes anything, we all could have afforded new if we chose to.

The 'little' '88 pulls harder than another buds '09, both of us have stage 1 and SE slippons and breather.

I can't imagine being happier than I am, especially with at least 10+ grand still in my jeans. I would assume there are many more of us out there...
Also, don't forget the class action lawsuit facing Harley and the possible effect it may have on the resale value of the '07 and ups. Word has a funny way of getting around...
My guess would be somewhere around $14,500 - $15,500.

I rode in the Darryl Worley River run yesterday (368 bikes) and noticed there are a lot of people still ridin "old outdated bikes". Pre 09. I was talkin to a guy who was on a 2011 cvo ultra and he said "I wish i'd customized my 06 and kept it!) There was 8 bikes there exactly like his.

My first number to mind: $12,000

That's reinforced by the fact that our company's Charlotte, NC Sales guy just sold his 07 Ultra for $11,750 last week.

it might be 2 engine models back, but some of us prefer the 88/95 inch - I see your still riding one as well

In my neck of the woods an 06 will bring more than an 07 or 08.

I just purchased a 06 Ultra from a dealership and paid $14,500. It had 6500 miles on it and was totally stock and in excellent condition.
