Default Intake flutter avoidable?

Hi All,
After the cam swap I noticed more intake flutter between 1500-2500rpm. Its not objectionable just wondering if its avoidable or if it just comes with the territory.
Thanks,
Joe

not quite sure what intake flutter is- not familiar with that term.

I am guessing you are describing something that results from the cam timing and overlap.

Yeah its basically a noise from the intake during that rpm. Hard to describe almost like a bubbling.

I hear what you're saying, I gave my girlfriend a cam job now she is making bubbly noises too.

with the change in cam timing overlap, you may be able to tune out the flutter with a change in exhaust tract length, diameter, restriction

or by changing the intake tract ( such as length)

what is likely happening at the rpm range is a wave coming back up the pipe, the exhaust and intake valves are both open, so that wave can travel all the way to intake.
in which case cylinder fill/ intake charge velocity would be affected resulting in reduced power

true duals by chance?

No its a Dragos 2 into 1. It has a 2.55" baffle which is big so maybe a smaller baffle would minimize it. Not that I would buy one just curious.
