Hello,I have a 2006 street glide with Bub true dual header pipes, screaming eagle mufflers (the kind with three baffle holes slash up ) screaming eagle race tuner and a screaming eagle air filter.
The bike pops out the exhaust when decelerating, mostly in second or first gear. Also bike lurches or bucks forward just at end of deceleration in lower gears.
I had the bike dyno tuned at World Thunder in Chatsworth ca. and they said thats the best it will be.Is there a map out there for this set up that will get rid of these problems?
Thanks, Dan
I have a simular set-up on my bike. I went with 25 degree injectors and a 1550 Map. Runs pretty well now. Looking for a good (ie: someone who knows what they are doing) Dyno tune.
Your bike should pop very little if your bike is tuned correctly. I agree with all the others here, that whoever did your tuning didn't know what he was doing. Your popping is coming from a lean condition, and can be easily fixed with the remapping of the fuel/air mixture. Can you tell us what the F/A mixture is currently?

Thanks for the replies, someone out there must have the same exact setup. It seems to pop at two thousand rpm or under when in first gear.
Dan, I have had my SG dynoed 2x and it has some of the same characteristics you described with your bike. I have had it to 2 different tuners and they both said that's the best they can do. Good tuners are really hard to find. The bike runs great above 2300 RPM's but the lower gears are rough and I have some pop and gurgle on decel below 2000 and a surge at 1500. Maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist but I am to the point that I am going to set the ECM back to stock and purchase a PCIII from Jamie at fuelmoto. There's another $600 down the drain.
