Right now, I'm leaning toward the 4" Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers, AN Big Sucker and FL-XiED-10 kit, with my stock cat-equipped head pipes.
I'm following Ronp42's KISS principle...
Tell you a funny story. Riding two up on the 2012 Triglide didn't work out. I missed my RK, plus my wife's now an expert and telling me how to drive.
I bought my RK back. I was talking to the Salesman about also getting the Stock header and muffler's I gave them to maybe put back on someday if the 2into1 ever got too loud, or EPA mandates forces States to start checking. The Salesman informed me they had thrown the stuff away or used it on a wrecked bike. He said, what more would you want, you already have the best setup with the 2into1 and a RACE TUNER! I almost laughed in his face. I've been running FL-XIED'S since the bike was new. They did a service on the bike too! obviously didn't see them. Just proves the XIED'S don't throw codes and they perform!!!! So like it or not guy's, I'm Back!
Port Dawg, sorry for jumping in on your Thread Dude. I thought 05Train had you straight with the TTS. I'm glad he jumped in and confirmed what's already been proven. The Cat in the head pipe does not restrict flow, it just adds more heat. When you remove the cat, those muffler's are going to be louder! If I were you, I would leave the stock header with the cat on with the muffler's you already have. You already have the best tuner!
If you want more power, scrap all that stuff except the tuner and get a D&D Fatcat. Then you'll be smiling from ear to ear, but your neighbor's will hate you at 5.00 AM....Good luck Pal! Ride safe!

It's great to have you back, Ron.
I've been following Port Dawg's thread because the SuperTrapp SE's are 1 of 3 slip-on's that I like (the Jackpot's and the Rinehart's are the other 2).
I keep coming back to the Jackpots because I like the deeper tone and more open exhaust note.
Question: With the stock, cat-equipped head pipes, do the Jackpots idle with more volume than the stock slip-ons?

Thanks!
Yes they do! The slipon's you mentioned are all top choices. The reason I've been and still using the Jackpot's, I like the sound and quality for the money. I think I posted a video of the Triglide with stock cat header and the FuelMoto Jackpot's. The nice thing about the Jackpot's, If you decide they are too loud, you can buy quiet baffles for them. The packing has a lifetime warranty also! Thanks, It's good to be back!

The only way that I can imagine the Jackpots being too loud is during periods of acceleration or high-speed cruising. With my stock setup, I'm hoping for slightly louder than stock at idle.
My wife actually thinks the stock setup is loud during acceleration!

At a steady 70mph cruise, they're great. Start getting aggressive in the mountains and they get loud. Not Fatcat-loud, but loud enough to get my ears ringing, even with earplugs in. That said, they sound fantastic, and for 80% of my riding, the volume is perfect.

Hey '05Train, are your raves PRE or POST Fuel Moto head pipes? How will those Jackpot mufflers sound on a stock TC96 with stock, cat-equipped head pipes?

I've only run the mufflers with the Jackpot headpipe. I have run the stock mufflers with the Jackpot pipe though, and the Dyno-Tuned mufflers are louder.
Hey Ron that's awesome! Glad to see you got your RK back! Welcome back!
Fender...I am really starting to like the Supertrapps especially at 75-80 mph on the highway...have a nice rumble and going under overpasses you twist the throttle.....yeah sounds nice Not trying to dissuade on the Jackpots as I haven't heard one bad thing about them...but as I said earlier I have my tail between my legs a bit after thinking a number 0 stamped on the pipe was a imperfection in the chrome....doh...these pipes compliment the cat equipped bikes nicely. Maybe an new a/c this weekend and a d/l and I'll put all this nonsense to bed for a year or so..
Who knows though...in the next 10 minutes I might come up with another idea lol
