So, how many riding miles do you figure you missed? 20 or 25?
Sorry, couldn't help myself. Maybe you want to check into an aftermarket module like S&S or HPI? I'm not on top of all current events but haven't heard of this issue before. Looks like several others report the same issue. Also old enough bikes the moco won't give much of a **** about it.

it would be funnier if the op didn't have 16,000 miles on a 1 year old bike. wonder how many miles he has on it now, of if he still even has it?
