Default Time for PCIII?

I had the 103" kit with SE air, K&N put on my 06 EG Classic before I took delivery. Ran perfect, but after a few months hated the sound so put on some of the last of the original SE slip ons w/o any remap. Great sound, still ran great although I noticed more heat from the motor. Have run that way for the last 1K miles or so. Just a few days ago put on the Fullsac true dual set up and an insert on the filter in place of the football. Finally no rain today so took her out. After warming up I noticed a lot more vibration from the motor - really shook a LOT sometimes, and also sputtered several times around town. On the plus side she ran really strong and seemed extra smooth and quick at the top end, and no more popping on deceleration either. And of course the sound is much improved. So I'm thinking the true dual changed enough of the equasion that it's time for a PCIII and a new map. Sound about right?

Thanks

Definitely sounds like you need a tuner of some sort. I prefer PCIII, som elike SERT. Either one, properly tuned, will make it run like an entirely different bike!

Ron - Since you are so close, make an appointment with Latus Motors for a dyno tune. You won't be sorry. They are the best for either SERT or PCIII. You won't be sorry.

Thanks - I've been thinking that I would try buying a PCIII with a map from Jamie at Fuelmoto and see how close we get, and then if I need further adjustment head to Latus

Nothing wrong with that plan. Good luck.
