Thanks for the information everyone. I have the service manual for the bike and will pull the codes and see what it says, and check all of the suggestions and get back to this thread on the outcome.

Pulled the code off the scooter yesterday. It was a 14, Engine Temperature Sensor. I picked up a new sensor and replaced it today. Running like a dream. Changed the spark plugs as well since the others have seen better days due to the sensor being bad. Running better than ever!

I'm haveing a similar issue with my 2001 flhtcu-i, mine has an intermitant miss on the front cylinder,have checked everything i can think of ,engine light has not come on so have not checked codes . Is it possible for the cam sensor to send only one signal for the injectors ? Who ever replaced it last just spliced the new one in right by the oil sender so is a bitch to get at ,any thoughts would be appreciated. Bob
