Nobody wants a FUGLY bike! lol. BTW 2010 up the lowers should fit just fine, the are the same on all the touring models.

Do it, I went from a Wide Glide to a 2011 Road Glide Custom.
Best move I could have made , I love it.

You can't. It's like driving blind on every curve.

That's why not many have the mental fortitude it takes to become a member of the fugly club.

I went from a 07 FLHT STD to a 2011 FLTRX. IMO, the best move ever. Good Luck!!!!

Thanks guys. I have the 07 fairing lowers with the cap that covers more of the engine guard. Wasn't sure if the old cap would work. The newer style cap is really short. Anyway will have to wait and see. If only I can convince the better half the fugly is way better then the street glide

Have you and your wife demo one and see if you like it. Some folks think they do, but then don't after demo'ing one.

I added lowers, new seat, windshield, new bars to get me where i love the ride, but that was on an 09 before they made some slight changes in 2010.

The arms on the caps will be to long. You will have to cut them off shorter and touch up the chop job with paint. I suggest renting 1. By all means take better half for her opinion. The Rg isn't for everybody. But it's for me.
