My thought as well, why not go full chrome for the entire wheel/brake assembly....what's a few extra bucks when yer into a unique and already expensive system?
thats how it was sent to me....i'm sorry this whole deal has been so drawn out, usually i'm on something immediately but there was some healin my body made me do...i'll run it for awhile like is and who knows, maybe a cool anodize or chrome later...i just want to ride these days...only been on it once since Oct 17 and man it felt great....also, a high buff polish against chrome can and does make for a nice contrast

just a little curious why ur mating a polished unit to a chrome wheel. is it just a beta test unit?
Here is the deal on the chrome versus polish thing, Balwdin ( the brake company) being very cautious of liability issuses that all brake manufactures face went with a special aluminum a 3000 series, 3130 I think it is, but dont hold me to that, because it is much stronger than normal 6061, and they we concerned over the long haul that the 6061 would not be strong enough. The down side to the 3000 series while it has an extremely high polished look ( much shiny that normal 6061 and holds a polish much longer, is very hard to chrome because of the nature of that series of aluminum. I have chromed a couple and had an issuse of a little peel. 360 is currently testing the 6061 to actually see if there is any actual strength issuses (they have them running on the bikes now), please keep in mind they never had any failures of the 6061, they had just never tried it because they knew the 3000 series would work flawlessly, however they forgot how we bikers like really really shiny things, and dont like to polish them any more than necessary, so hence the 6061 test. Sorry to be long winded but just wanted you guys to know the rest of the story. Brake manufactures will always overdue or error on the cautious side of things, and I am glad they do, cause our lives depend on it. Hope this clears up the questions, and if anyone is interested in one just PM me and I will be glad to help you.
