Well, the Street Glide bug has bitten me bad. I am pretty much set on selling my 2010 Wide Glide and upgrading to a SG. I was looking at the RK for a minute but I have always loved the SG. I am debating on starting the process of selling my current bike, negotiating with the dealer on a good price for a new SG or waiting till the 2013 model year. That will be the 110th anniversary and maybe the MoCo will do something cool like a nice color or 110ci engines on all touring bikes!!!
I was thinking the 110 year would carry the 110 cubic incher, but could not stand still that long. The catch of course with the paint, it that if you like it, then cool, but then there will also be one on each street corner, and if you don't like the anniversary colours, then you might have a search for the "right" colour on your hands. I suspect the MoCo will have some "marketing" delights to tempt the masses for sure, but then each year they tend to play the bigger, better, new and improved game. I was hoping the Powerpak option would get bumped up to something else option wise this year, but again suspect they are holding out till next year ...Should be interesting. Maybe some more CVO options make their way on to the regular production bikes and the CVOs get that 120 Motor ?? ...LOL...that would rock !
Waiting is a "Beotch" for us 'Grown-Up-Kids". IMO, if you don't wait you might take a temper tantrum if the 2013 have something special & you miss out!!!! just my 2 cents, not that you would take a temper tantrum.
Man.... I got that itch too.I got a 2010 fatboy Lo and can't decide to throw hardbags on her or trade her in for a street Glide. I've been thinking about it for months. What to do what to do.
