I hope this is the right place, and I hope this catches the eye of you guys who have already done the 26" conversion.
Anyways, down to business. I am going to be doing a 26" Wheel on my 2012 Road Glide. Today I ordered a bunch of parts and want to know if there is anything im missing or will still need.
HHI Neck Kit and Trees
HHI 6 Piston Black Caliper
Single Brake Line
American Suspension Lower Legs Smooth/Black
2" Extended Fork Tubes
What else do I need? Are you guys changing springs in your forks? Internal Stops? I will gladly listen to any advice that pertains to this....except for nay sayers who think its dumb.
extend the inner fairing bracket upper arm to bring the fairing angle down again.
i'm running native custom baggers front air ride (with se fork oil) on my sg with 26". With the batwing i needed internal stops ( i think 1") . Right now with the road glide front end on it looks like ill be using the +2 tubes as with the air all the way down it touching fender and i still need to correct angle of fairing.
Slothy, I love your bike, when it was a street glide it was really my inspiration and now that its a road glide I love it even more!
Im not really looking to spend the money on air ride right now. I am going to run the +2 tubes and was thinking of putting the Progressive Springs in them but again im looking for suggestions.
For the fender, im looking toward yaffe, and for the brake rotor, im waiting to pick a wheel so I get the matching rotor.

Looks sick man can't wait until it's done. I might be following your lead here. The more I ride my buddies RG the more I like it. I want to chat with you on the whole setup when you're done. Holding off on new bars until I decide.
