Default Fork Spring Installation

Hello everyone; I have decided to remove the Progressive Drop In Fork Lowering kit, and reinstall my stock springs,(with an oil weight change). I didn't like the loss in fork travel.
Does anybody know of a trick to compress the spring enough to install the cap? Bike is a 2010 Ultra Classic. I'll be selling the Progressive kit for $60.00 soon.
Thanks for any and all replies

I just muscled the hell out of mine. Shot the top washer across the garage a couple of times, but was able to find it each time! LOL!!
