I have a 2011 Street Glide with H-D brand Electric Grips. They're working, but the way they operate has changed. I'm perplexed.
Up to now, I've never operated them at a level higher than 2 or 3 on the control rheostat. Last weekend there was no heat at power level 2-3. I thought they weren't working. When I turned the rheostat up to 4-5, they got hot. That's new. I've never had to turn them up that high. I have not made any electrical changes to bike.
I was wondering if anyone has ever seen this before and if so if you had any thoughts on what the cause was.
I also only used level 1 or 2. The other day I set them to level 1 and it seemed as if they were completely off. Went back to 2 and they were OK. 2010 limited.
