Default Floorboard extensions

I was running the Harley Goodies on my 09 RKC but I sold it and I pick up my new Road Glide Custom tomorrow. I was thumbing through the P&A catalog and noticed some that move your feet forward. Can you use these in conjunction with the Harley Goodies? Anyone tried this? The HG are good for moving them out but even with them, I noticed my feet were still towards the out edge but also towards the front. Do the ones that move them forward cause you to scrape more or less?

HD sells a replacement pan that is offset about 3/4" to give you a forward foot placement. This doesn't change the bracket (unless you are talking about a replacement bracket?). In any event, the the mounting point of the bracket is the same, and extensions can be used. As for scraping, there is always the possibilty to scrape.

I have both. I scrape boards not very often. And only when being aggressive or showing off figure 8's. It is close when I add the lowers on for winter. Board is slightly in the lower. I have extended brake lever also. But the forward and out placement of the boards works great for me. If I get on someone else's bike I feel cramped up.

I have the Soos Kit Footboard Extension Kit, which moves your floorboards out 1-inch from stock. I am now adding the HD Extended Reach Rider Footboard Pan, which moves your floorboards forward 1-inch.

I have a Street Glide, which is lowered in the rear. Moving the floorboards forward will actually give me more ground clearance than what I have currently.

So, to answer your questions, 'yes', 'soon' and 'less'.

Now, I won't need no stinkin' highway pegs!

I have the E-Goodies that move them out 1" and the Harley pans that move them forward 1" on my 11 RKC. They work great together. No scraping for me but I don't ride like an idiot either.
