Default 2002 to modern

How much money and work does it cost to change a 2002 road king to except a 2010 and up streetglide front and rear wheel?
I understand axle is different
will a 2007 SG set of wheels work
I love the rims and wanna do this as cost effective as I can
please input needed
or is there a kit someone sells
k

Front wheel is easy, just buy the 2010 axel. The fork lowers are the same. Rear im sure will bolt right on. Have a friend that did this and i dont recall him saying anything about having any trouble on the back.

for the rear wheel just get a 2006-08 16" rear wheel, it will bolt right in, for the front you can either get the 06-08 16" front SG wheel and its a direct swap, or go with a 17 or 18" from 09-11, all you need is the axle (66.00 at dealer) and the wheel spacers for the new 25mm axle.

you cant use a 08 or newer rear becasue they made them much wider in 09, it wont even fit in the swingarm.

Kerl, fat boy and eric are right! I had forgotten how wide the rear is starting in 09. He must have used one from pre 08. The front was off an '11'. The 07 set you've found will work fine.
