Default Sta-bil

Do we have many people here who are using Sta-Bil in their bike? Ran into a guy recently who just bought a new '12 Ultra and he said he had been using it in a couple of his bikes for a while because of the ethanol issue. I have never used it. Do you think it's a good idea? All replies appreciated.

I've used it in all my bikes when stored over the winter. No issues here.

I use it every winter. I treat 2 5 gal cans. One for topping off the bike and one for snow blower, mower, etc. Never had a problem. Everything always starts right up.

I don't ride much in the coldest part of the winter months. It doesn't hurt anything to use Sta-Bil if you do ride so I've always made it a habit of putting some Sta-Bil in the tank when I think I'm through riding for a while. I think it better to be safe than sorry the old saying goes.

I fill the tank right to the top with Stabil-ized gas then run for a few minutes to get it through the system when winter storing. In the spring I siphon the old gas out (dump it in my truck) and refill with fresh an good to go.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds as if it can't hurt so I'll probably be getting some.
