He should be bending over backwords to make this motor perform at least in the 100/100 range! If he cant get that out of a 103, he needs to get a job at McDonalds.

I check those things, use a reputible machine shop, and always let my friends/customers know what exactly they are getting from me. I also tell them I have no formal schooling and that I am no "harley mechanic" The money I charge them also reflects this...Mostly beer, they help, and enough money to make it worth while.
Air filter was blowing out oil and mech suspected too much oil in crankcase and lowered the level. No blow through now. He doesn't like filling up to the full mark on the stick.
