Saddlebag Rail Bar Size

Does anyone know what the bar size is for the saddlebag rail is. I think it is called a guard assembly 49172-09. It is basically the round bar on the left/right saddlebags on the EGC.

I believe it is 1/2". could be wrong it happened one other time

Yup, I believe the 1/2" is correct.

OK - hope I did this correct, but I measured it with an open ended adjustable wrench based on an old post I found on the forum. I am coming up with 7/8.

The "grab bar" in front of the bag is 7/8" --- The "bumper bars" that go around the bag horizontally are 3/4" ---

And the highway bar is 1.25" (as long as we're at it).

Yep, I was talking about the one like you have your leather bag attached to in your signature photo.
