Black with a hint of chrome to make it pop. on my bike (vivid black) Im probably 90 % black, tins, handlebars, forks, mirrors, engine and bag guards, pipes, license plate frame are black and I left the A/C, fender struts, floor boards , passenger pegs chrome to give it some "bling"
I think the orange with black would look good and a little chrome to stand out and sparkle.
The new CVO have the forks 50/50 upper black and lower chrome , I think it looks good
My last bike 05 FLSTFI was more chrome maybe 80% and IMO the black is a lot easier to maintain and looks good longer between washes IMO. Chrome that is not shining doesnt look as good as black that is not shining,
Chrome was my choice. I blacked out my last bike and after a couple years the black started to haze and showed stone chips and swirl marks like black paint. Plus I'm just sick of looking at blacked out bikes, that fad has passed for me.
I was undecided until I saw your bike.....chrome for sure. I have always kept a contrast of black and chrome on my bikes (just got started on my RG), but I like blacked out and chrome bikes.
