I reached a bit of a milepost this afternoon when I arrived home. rolled over 90,000 miles on the ol' girl! I'm the second owner, and she still runs great. We've had a few issues, but I'll buy another one someday. Had the cam bearing plate replaced and upgraded. Covered under ESP, along with a broken header pipe, rear head. 1 set of fairing brackets, new fuel injectors. Replaced all the cables with HD stainless steel lines, on my dime. Several sets of OEM tires and regular maintenance. Otherwise, I'd ride anywhere tomorrow!
Congrats on this milestone! It says a lot about your bike, and a lot for the way you service it, care for it, and ride it. As we mature we begin to take better care of our stuff, don't we? Ride safe, and enjoy...
That is awesome!! I sometimes get very frustrated on this forum. In both the touring section and the Sporty section. Seems most people spend more time putting new parts on their bike, or polishing it, etc etc etc....than they do riding the bike
I haven't had the UC very long, but my 06 Sporty that I purchased new has just a click or 2 over 80,000 miles.
Very refreshing to hear there are still some guys that ACTUALLY ride their bike. Stay safe out there....And ......ROLL ON!!!
