great choice! i came off a Fatboy to my Glide and I know what your saying, IMO there isnt another model out there thats as stable in the wind as these are and even at slow speeds its more nimble than my lowered Fatboy was.

I noticed in your sig and the pic, you got a pretty tall shield.
I was planning on going with the 12" wind splitter, I am just a hair under 6 foot, would the 15" glass be too high?
Also, I would like to adjust/replace the bars to get the sitting position of the Heritage (had mini apes). The heritage was a totally different set up though and I am also told that standard Heritage bars on the RG would give me the same sitting position as the Heritage with the mini apes, can anyone confirm this? And will it change the handling?
I do like the black denim on the r/g .... will look sick blacked out.
Have fun and enjoy the process.... and take plenty of pics
so we can follow your progress.
I will post up some pics and stuff, but over this winter I only plan on upgrading the wind screen to the 12 or 15 inch, adding hwy pegs, and further set back bars if I get the chance. Then I will be riding all next summer and maybe start the blackout next winter.
