I have a 06 EGC with a touring PAK but no rear pod speakers and I'm looking to add a CB/Intercomm system to my bike for me and the wife. Just like the 06 ultra's have.
so far I've purchased a 70169-06A Ultra Wiring harness and a 76236-06C CB Module. Just not sure where to go from here.
I'm looking for a chrome 77173-06 Left Hand Handlebar control assembly with the PTT but can't seem to find one and not sure where to find the rear pods and speakers with the PPT switch.
If you want an intercom, you can do that with a bluetooth headset in your helmets. You don't need any installation on the bike as they are cordless and the two of you can chatter away when you please! Cardo Scala make several models.
I was looking at doing the same thing with a 01 SG. Then found out the cost! I had a set of Sena Blur tooth head sets. Bought the J&M cb radio that has weather, cb and FM. You can get the head set also from J&M or IMC. The J&M Dual mode comes with an PPT for the passenger but thats only for the cb. The intercom is alway on and can be over ridding by an attached cell phone. Sene has a blue tooth Dongal that will let me use my Sena headsets with the J&M system so I don't have to buy another couple of head sets. Good luck
If you go with the all Harley set up let me know hoe it came out and the cost.
THANKS

The thread includes a link to the installation instructions (which include a service parts list of what's needed). A virtue of the BAMI kit was that it didn't require speaker pods or tour pak on the bike for the passenger headset and passenger PTT switch.
I did it to my '07 RG. This was the parts list and instruction with cost that I put here https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...arts-list.html
Not sure if parts list will be the same on '06 or if the HK radios are the same. Just do a little research on the site, I'm sure some one has done it. Good luck. Note that the '07 RG came with the PTT switch and all other control switches on the bike stock.

Yes, the HK radio on the '06 is the same.

Can some one offer me any help?

You may take a look at the "Audio Music Intercom Kit" thread I posted a while back. I have parts you may want.
