Default Somebody school me on Load Equalizers

I understand what they do and why they are used. My question is how many do you need? I am installing my Bad Dad Summit fender with built in LEDs. It come with their "upgraded wiring harness" which has a Badland Load Equalizer that has Run/Turn/Brake mode in it. So I know my rear will work fine. I want to put LED front turn signals on eventually this winter. Do I need another Load Equalizer for the fronts too? Or will the Badlands I have in the rear work for the whole bike?

Thanks for the input. I am admittedly not an electrical genius.

"Or will the Badlands I have in the rear work for the whole bike?" thats my understanding and i think it depends on where the load eqalizer is placed in line, but i could be wrong about that, Tech at Custom Dynamics could probably clear that all up

Called Badlands and they said it will work for the whole bike. Guess I'll find out when I start installing all the goodies.

I have changed my front and rear turn signal/running lights to LED's, one load equalizer took care of everything, I got it from Chrome Glow.

Haven't used one before but I presume it all depends on where they are placed in the circuit.

The standard flasher units rely on the resistance in the traditional bulb to "drive" the switching mechanism, or that is how I understand it. LED lights do not have nearly the same line resistance so you need to simulate it.

Essentially there is a T in electrical circuit with a supply running front an back - 1 T for left, the other for Right.

If the equaliser is in the leg between the switch and the T then it will service both indicators - but then you need to make sure you change front and back at the same time. Hope this makes sense
