what sort of price are you looking at for a 26" wheel/tyre combo please ? inc rotors too ?
Of course it all depends on brand & components you use but you'll be in the ballpark for just the tire, wheel & rotors for around $2,500+ new. You can buy used for about $500 less.
That's definitely true. A 26" requires several other mods which add to the cost....trees, cut frame, rakes fairing or new headlight bucket, 26" front fender etc...
Do you have a 21" yet? I have one for sale. It's an SMT Silencer with Rotors, ABS bearing & an Avon tire. All that's required is removing your wheel & putting on the new wheel. You'll need to pull the front fender up & back, which just requires loosening the fender bolts & adjusting the fender.
