I have been looking at the Skull accessories that they have for the Road King. Seems like they have just about everything, except for a Skull Theme Horn Cover. Is this the case or am I just missing it somewhere?

 

Yes you have missed it. It is actually a handpainted piece that does not appear in the catalog. There are actually 2 versions one is a white/silver skull on black background HD catalogue and the other is a skull with eye patch and American flag bandana over the forehead. I will forward H-D part number if I can find it. BTW $99-$129 retail. (Haven't gotten mine yet but have just about every other skull thingy. Man am I obsessed or what?)

I too have gone apeshit over the skulls theme and have everything except the horn cover and fender skirt, **** even the license plate bolts are skulls ~

 

Well the Black skull horn is nice and does have a skull on it. But it doesn't really match the theme being black and not saying Harley Davidson around it like all the rest of the skull theme stuff.

I know what you mean Ted. Maybe you can find an inexpensive horn cover, non-chromed, and then have a local car or bike painter duplicate it for you. I think the horn cover itself is universal for most of the HD line. Just thought of something else. There is a skull theme, self-adhesive medallion made for the gas cap. Maybe it could work with the right horn cover. The medallion has a slightly curved back to match the gas cap so that must be taken into consideration. Let me know if you try it. There are some winged skull self-adhesive medallions that I used on the back of my passenger foot boards and the adhesive has held up well so far.

Hey JB, I went to ebay and it looks like a standard air wing horn cover with a skull collection gas cap medallion stuck to it. If that is the case it would only cost something like $60 full retail. I may be wrong but that is what is looks like to me.

 

You are probably right. Amazing how the photo on the Harley box is washed out by the "flash", huh?

Since these look like the same item in the pictures Big Ted posted, I wonder if this guy is making and then selling these on Ebay?
